My Favorite Things Holiday Gift Guide 2021

I love sharing things every year that are tried and true and would also make great gifts. Hope you get some good ideas for all of the special people in your life!

KITCHEN

1. U-Taste Silicone Spatula Set - Everyone needs some good spatulas in their kitchen and not only are these pretty, but they're sturdy and heat-resistant, too! I love the different sizes and shapes of these silicone spatulas and they come at a great price as well. There are also 5 different colors to choose from!
2. KAI Pure Komachi 2 Paring Knife - I've had this knife for over 10 years now and it's the one I always grab to cut fruit, veggies or meat every single time. It has the perfect size blade and cuts so well. I finally decided to buy two more recently and they're still my most used knives.
3. Mercer Culinary Bread Knife - I know...another knife, but I wouldn't share it unless I loved it. I had seen someone else rave about it all last year and it went on sale on Prime Day so I tried it out. Now I can see why they love it so much! It cuts through any bread with complete ease. No more squished bread slices. It's seriously amazing!
4. Acacia Wood Divided Salt Box - This is technically a spice box, but I use it to store two different kinds of salt. Regular white kosher salt and my favorite Redmond kosher salt. I use regular white kosher salt for baking and the Redmond kosher salt for basically everything else. Redmond salt gives everything so much flavor! It would make a great gift as well. I just love how pretty and functional this box is. I use it every single day!

GADGETS AND DRINKS
1. Zulay Original Handheld Milk Frother - So I would never think I need a milk frother because I'm not a coffee drinker, but this has been such an awesome gadget! It's perfect for mixing powder into hot or cold drinks and I also use it for whipping up eggs for recipes. I love how small, powerful and inexpensive it is. I also love the stand it comes with that makes it perfectly compact on my counter.
2. Liquid IV Hydration Multiplier - I've talked about this powder drink a few times on social media and I'm a huge fan! I sometimes deal with lightheadedness and most of the time, I'm just dehydrated. Liquid IV works wonder for me because it works so quickly. Some people don't love the taste, (it is a little strong), but you just have to mix it with A LOT of water. Like 28 oz. or more. My favorite flavors have been strawberry, passion fruit and pina colada. Also, you can almost always get a 25% off coupon on their website.
3. Ello 4pk Stainless Steel Straws with Silicone Tips - I've used silicone straws for years and I use them every single morning when I drink my smoothie. I love having a sturdy reusable stainless steel straw with a soft silicone tip that doesn't hurt my teeth. While I loved my last ones that were similar to these, they were too short for my Blender bottle. I found these and they fit perfectly! Just long enough to drink from and they work great.
4. Ergo Spout - I'd seen these cute dispensers for regular mouth Mason jars for a few years and I randomly met the inventor and was able to get one from her. Let's just say this is the best invention! I regularly make salad dressings in Mason jars and this quickly turns a jar into a pitcher. It would also be great for homemade syrups and sauces. Such a fun idea!

HOME
1. House of Noa Standing Mat - I had been looking for a new rug to put under my kitchen sink and came across these standing mats. Not only are they comfortable to stand on (so soft and squishy), but they are the prettiest standing mats you'll find. I got the 20x48" size and it's perfect for my kitchen. Be sure to look for a coupon code on their site!
2. Costa Mesa Indoor Snake Plant - This might seem like the most random gift in the winter, but I ordered this snake plant back in June and I love it so much. It is such high quality for the price and I only water it once every two weeks, which is my kind of houseplant. I put it in a cute standing pot holder from HomeGoods, but there are so many different options online as well.
3. Echo Show 5 - We have had an Echo Dot for a year or so and then saw a promotion on our Amazon account to get this Echo Show 5 for $30 so we went for it! We love this device and I love that it has a screen. We use it for timers, to play music, check the weather, ask random questions and you can even watch shows on it. Another cool feature is you can do video calls to phones so it totally replaces a home phone. This would make such a great gift!
4. Geometry Dish Towels - I have seen these posted all over Instagram and at first I thought there's no way they could be worth the price. I mean they're cute, but it's a dish towel. I finally ordered some and I love them! I love the patterns, but I also love how quickly they dry. They are big, too so they have plenty of drying power. They have all sorts of designs and plenty of holiday patterns. Such a great product! Don't forget to use my code RACHELLEN15 for 15% off your order!

BEAUTY
1. Olive and June Nail Polish - I have tried sooo many nail products and when it comes down to it, nail polish is what works best for me. That being said, not all nail polishes are created equal. I was skeptical about Olive and June, but it totally lives up to the hype! Their colors are amazing and it really does last. They do share a process on their site about how to make it last so be sure to watch a few videos about it. I bought the mani kit for 20% off and you can get 20% off by clicking here. They also sell several colors and products at Target. And while I loved the mani kit, you don't have to buy the whole thing to still have great results.
2. L'Oreal Paris Double Extend Mascara - You've probably seen this mascara by now, but have you tried it? I finally tried it after receiving it at a favorite things party last year and I'm obsessed! I loved my last mascara, but when I would wash it off it would stay in my eyes and irritate them. This goes on great even though it's two steps, but it's a tubal mascara so it literally comes off in tubes. So satisfying every time you wash it off!
3. Hey June Double Hoop Studs - I've been eyeing Hey June jewelry for a couple of years and finally purchased these earrings earlier this year. They are one of my favorite pairs and they dress up any outfit! They have not tarnished at all, which is amazing for how inexpensive they are. There are so many fun styles on their site so be sure to check them out!
4. Kensie So Pretty Perfume - I got a sample of this perfume in one of my IPSY bags and I love it so much! It's sweet and light and the smell lasts all day long. I found this gift set online and thought it would make the best Christmas present. It's a great price, too!

MEN
1. Lightweight 50-Inch Camera Mount Tripod Stand - I asked my husband what some of his favorite things are from this past year and this was one of them. While it's obviously for a camera, he loves this for hunting to attach his spotting scope to. It's super inexpensive, compact and lightweight.
2. Husqvarna Handheld Gas Blower - Another favorite of my husband's is this leaf blower. We had one with a cord for years, but having this be cordless makes it so much easier to carry around the yard! My husband loves how powerful this one is compared to his electric one. I used it the other day and it was so easy to start and blew the leaves off of our back patio in no time.
3. Portable Badminton Net - We are huge badminton fans and this net makes playing anywhere so easy. It's the perfect size and so easy to fold up and pack in its carrying case. It could also be used for volleyball, pickleball, tennis, etc. It's such a great price, too!
4. Monopoly Deal Card Game - While I am not a fan of the original game of Monopoly, I LOVE this card game! My husband loves it, too and it's perfect for two people, but also fun with more. It's much faster than a game of Monopoly and I love that you never know what's going to happen. Such a fun and easy game to take with you!

KIDS
1. Kiwi Crate Boxes - While these have been around for several years, I still think they're so cool! They are subscription craft boxes for all ages and are so detailed. The ones my sons have done have had 3 different crafts plus a booklet with other craft ideas for the same theme. It makes such a great gift and with the link I provided you can get 50% off of your first month!
2. FunzBo Arts and Crafts Kit - My 5 year old loves to create and he loved this arts and crafts kit for his birthday! It is packed full of arts supplies and is such a great price. If you have a child that loves to create like mine does then they will love this as a gift.
3. LEGO Star Wars Advent Calendar - My kids are huge LEGO fans and even bigger Star Wars fans so we get them one of these advent calendars to share every year. It's pretty fun for them to open up a mini LEGO set or mini-figure every day before Christmas. They have all sorts of LEGO advent calendars so you could definitely find one that suits your family.
4. Sleeping Queens - Another card game we love as a family is Sleeping Queens! It's great for all ages and even my 5 year old loves to play it. It uses simple math and some strategy to win so it's great for the whole family.
