My Favorite Things Holiday Gift Guide 2020

I love sharing things every year that are tried and true and would make great gifts! I also shared some great gifts for kids and the men in your life as well. Hope you get some good ideas for all of the people in your life!

KITCHEN

 1. Fullstar Vegetable Chopper - I try to not buy larger gadgets for my kitchen because I don't have a lot of storage space, but this veggie chopper is so worth it! I'm not a huge fan of chopping fruits and veggies, especially when it comes to onions and this chops them in a snap. It comes with two different sizes, a spiralizer and an attachment to julienne veggies. Not only does it save time, but it actuallymakes it fun, too. It's also under $20, which is such a great price!

2. Prepworks by Progressive 16-Slice Thin Apple Slicer & Corer - Two of my boys eat an apple almost every day and while I know it’s not hard to cut apples, this gadget has become my absolute favorite. I love that it makes thin slices and the safety cover helps push the slices through the metal so easily. It’s awesome for anyone who eats a lot of apples! *Side note, I got mine for only $10 so watch for a sale.

3. Dexas Heavy Duty Grippmat Flexible Mini Cutting Board Set (8x11” size) - I’m all about plastic cutting boards I can throw in the dishwasher and these are the perfect size! They’re small enough to place in the dishwasher where a plate would go, which saves so much space. I love having them for cutting up bread, veggies, a couple chicken breasts, etc. They also have a non-slip backing and bend so it’s easy to pour ingredients into another container.

4. Zulay Kitchen Stainless Steel Magnetic Measuring Spoons - There’s nothing worse than having a drawerful of kitchen tool clutter and these magnetic measuring spoons fix that! I love that they’re stainless steel so they won’t rust or or break. I also love that they have two sides for different jar openings and you can use one for multiple ingredients.

BEAUTY

1. IPSY Monthly Beauty Subscription - I’ve done a different beauty box subscription before and never used any of the products, but IPSY is different. You take a beauty quiz before you order and the products are all high quality. The best part is you get to choose one product every month and the rest are a surprise. You also get a cute bag every month with all of the products inside. This is a great gift for makeup and skincare product lovers!

2. Aikker 13pcs Acryrlic Dipping Powder Nail Start Kit - I’m one of those people that loves the idea of getting a manicure, but don’t want to spend the money or time getting one. I love having my nails painted and dip nails are so fun! You literally apply a clear coat and dip your nails in a powder. Dip nails have a bit of a learning curve, but I love how they look after. And for only $30 a kit, you can have tons of dip manicures at home for the price of one salon visit.

3. ACURE Brightening Face Mask - I’m not usually into face masks, but I tried this one and love it! It’s exfoliating and makes my face feel so soft and dewey after. It also has cleaner ingredients so it’s good for all skin types. It is a little messy to wash off so I always just put it on in the shower while I'm washing my hair.

4. Queen Bee by Good Chemistry Women’s Body Mist - I’ve always loved perfume, but some of the scents are way too strong for me. This body mist not only smells amazing, but it’s made with essential oils so it’s not as strong. It says it has notes of black currant, peony and amber, which apparently is one of the best combinations.

MEN

1. The Apollo Andar Wallet - My husband had been on the search for a good wallet for years and he finally found one he loves. Andar makes super slim wallets with some awesome features. The Apollo wallet holds up to 10 cards, has a pocket with elastic pull-tab for easy access, a money clip, ID pocket and it's made of full grain vintage leather. Not only is it functional, but it looks good, too!

2. Anker PowerCore 10000 Portable Charger - Everyone’s phone battery starts to die in the most inconvenient places so it’s nice to have a portable charger on hand. This Anker charger is so thin and light, which makes it extra portable. It charges your phone quickly and provides about 3 full charges. It makes a great gift and is under $30!

3. Stanley Classic Vacuum Insulated Wide Mouth Thermos (1.1 qt.) - Everyone needs a thermos when they’re going on an adventure and this thermos literally keeps hot beverages hot and cold beverages cold for up to 24 hours. This thermos not only works, but it has an awesome design with a large drinkable cap. My husband got his for $20 on Amazon so hopefully you can find a similar deal!

4. TOZO TWS Bluetooth Wireless In-Ear Headphones - The best gift I’ve ever given my husband are some wireless earbuds! He loves to watch shows while he does dishes/chores, which is great, but not as fun for everyone else around him. These earbuds are extra sleek and have a touch capability to change songs, stop playing music/shows and turn up or down the volume. They also come with a charging case, which makes them easy to store. You also can’t beat the price!

KIDS

*I have 3 boys ranging from ages 4-8 for reference.

1. Eye Found It - I’m always looking for games that my whole family will love and this one is perfect for all ages! It’s basically an I Spy game, but with scenes from Disney movies. Everyone gets 5 cards and then gets a clue of an item to find. Whoever finds it on one of their cards places it in the center and then the game is won by getting rid of all of your cards. Even my 4 year old loves this one! They also have a board game if you’re interested in that.

2. Kinetic Sand Construction Site Folding Sandbox Playset - We got a Kinetic Sand set similar to this last Christmas and it’s the one thing I know my boys will always play with. Kinetic Sand is less messy than Playdoh and the texture is amazing. My boys love the construction vehicles and I love that I can store it all in one container.

3. Lakeshore Learning Alpha-Bots - Lakeshore Learning has the best products and these Alpha-Bots are so much fun! Not only do kids get to learn their letters, they also get to transform them into robots. My boys love transforming and setting these up around our house to battle. Such a unique toy!

4. VTech KidiZoom Camera Pix Digital Camera for Kids - My boys always want to use my phone to take pictures and videos so I thought it’d be fun to get them their own camera last year. I love that this camera is extra durable for little hands and they can take real pictures and video. This also has games and an animation option, which my kids love. Such a great product for a great price!
