Cheesy Garlic Quick Bread

This recipe is so fun and different from anything I've ever tried. I've honestly only ever made sweet quick breads so when I saw this savory one I knew I had to try it. The result ended up being way better than I expected and everyone that tried it loved it! This bread is so soft and perfectly moist. It's unlike any other bread I've ever had.
It comes together in no time and doesn't require any yeast or rising time. You can choose what kind of cheese you want to add and it'll honestly taste good with any flavor. I've used just mozzarella and a mozzarella/cheddar blend. Both were equally delicious! Be sure to serve this alongside a fresh salad, soup or pasta. Everyone will be sure to love it!

Cheesy Garlic Quick Bread
Adapted from Table For Seven
3 cups flour
4 tsp. baking powder
1 cup shredded cheese (I’ve used mozzarella and cheddar, but anything will work)
1/4 cup sugar
2 tsp. garlic powder
1/2 tsp. dried Italian seasoning
1 1/2 cup milk
1/4 cup canola oil
1 egg

1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Grease a 9x5-inch loaf pan and set aside.
2. In a mixing bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, sugar, garlic powder and Italian seasoning. Set aside.
3. In another bowl, whisk milk, egg and canola oil until well combined.
4. Using a wooden spoon, mix dry ingredients into wet ingredients and stir until combined.
5. Fold in cheddar cheese.
6. Pour into prepared pan. Sprinkle some Italian seasoning on top if desired.
7. Bake for 45 minutes. Let bread cool for 15 minutes before cutting into it.
