New Blog Design + DIY Weekly Menu Board
Not only did I decide that my blog needed yet another design makeover, I also added a Weekly Menu section. It's the third section on the right side of my blog and it looks a little something like this:
Weekly Menu
- Monday: Caesar Artichoke Pepperoni Pizza with Feta
- Tuesday: Modified Chicken Tailgate Sandwiches
- Wednesday: Garden Vegetable Pasta Skillet
- Thursday: Grilled Chicken and Mashed Potatoes
- Friday-Saturday: Kitchen Break
- Sunday: Sesame Noodles with Peanut Sauce
- Treats: Oatmeal Peanut Butter Bites
- Dessert: No-Bake Butterfinger Pretzel Cheesecake
- I thought it'd be a fun idea to share what we're eating over here at the Nielson household every week. I plan out a weekly menu every Monday and try to keep my weekly grocery budget under $50. That may sound like a lot, but if you were to eat out every day you could easily double that. In the near future, I will also do a post about how you can keep you're weekly budget to $50, too.
- Anyway, my husband made me the dry erase menu board pictured above for Christmas after finding the idea saved on my Pinterest account.
- It makes keeping a weekly menu so easy and it's fun, too!
- If you'd like to make one yourself you'll need: scrapbook paper sheet, a frame, and a dry erase marker
- Directions: Open this template, print onto some scrapbook paper trimmed down to 8 1/2 x 11 inches and place in a frame. If you can't find an 8 1/2 x 11 frame, just trim the paper down to 8 x 10 after you've printed it. Pretty simple, eh?
He made that?! I didn't know he was so crafty! :)
ReplyDeleteMenu board must be most impressive and menu board template help to make it impressive. Your ideas are so wonderful and I'm so excited that we get to tap into them every day!! Thanks for sharing. :)
