Strawberry, Lime and Mint Sorbet

 
I don't know about you, but it's starting to heat up around here and I'm ready for all the icy treats! This Strawberry, Lime and Mint Sorbet is so refreshing and I love how easy it is to make! It uses the freshest ingredients and you will be craving it all summer long. Strawberries are so easy to find on sale right now, too so it's the perfect time to make it. This is easily one of the best cold treats I've ever made. So much flavor and I love the combo of lime and mint with the strawberry. I could eat an entire batch myself. Be sure to try it out ASAP!

Strawberry, Lime and Mint Sorbet

Adapted from Recipe Runner

1 lb. strawberries, hulled and cut in half

1/2 cup white sugar

Zest of one lime

3 Tbsp. fresh lime juice (about 1 1/2 limes)

3 Tbsp. water

2 Tbsp. fresh mint leaves


1. Freeze the insert of your ice cream maker overnight.

2. The next day, add all of the ingredients into a blender and blend until completely smooth.

3. Chill the mixture in the fridge for at least an hour until cold.

4. Pour the mixture into the prepared ice cream maker and chill according to the manufacturer’s instructions.

5. Serve immediately or freeze in a covered container for a few hours until firm.
